On Sunday, XRLab Academic Director Prof. Thorsten Hennig-Thurau, together with Festival Director Carsten Happe, will give a sneak peek into the latest episode of their project “Alle Jahre wieder in Münster” at the Filmfestival Münster in the Schlosstheater.

In collaboration with the City Museum Münster, they will launch a virtual edition of their exhibition “The City & the Film” in autumn 2026. The exhibition was originally shown at the City Museum Münster in winter 2021-22 - and now, for the 60th anniversary of the filming of Ulrich Schamoni’s cult classic in Münster, it will return there in virtual form!

Anyone with time and interest is warmly invited to come to the cinema for a look back and a look ahead, and to get a first impression of the virtual exhibition. The event is free of charge - but rich in rewards ;-). We are very much looking forward to welcoming curious guests and fellow collaborators to our “work-in-progress report.”
